Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026.
LCTester drives a real browser against websites. This policy keeps that safe for everyone.
Only test what you may test
Only point LCTester at sites you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You must be able to show that authorisation if we ask.
Not allowed
- Load testing, stress testing or denial-of-service of any site.
- Credential stuffing, password guessing or testing stolen credentials.
- Scraping in breach of a site’s terms or the law.
- Bypassing or probing protections such as rate limits, bot defences, paywalls or access controls, or trying to reach private networks or cloud metadata through our runs.
- Illegal content or activity, or anything that harms other people.
- Interfering with LCTester itself or other customers’ use of it.
What we may do
We may block domains, stop runs, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy, with or without notice where there is risk of harm.
If a site you control is being targeted from LCTester, or you see misuse, email abuse@[your-domain] with the time, the address involved and any details. We review reports promptly.
